A multimedia series exploring the body as a mnemonic device, intertwining personal and collective histories through textile installations that reflects my grandmother’s unrealised dream of becoming a folk dancer, blending traditional Uzbek dance with digital tools to create a distorted choreography that bridges memory, aspiration, and the constraints of patriarchal and socialist structures in mid-20th century Uzbekistan.
